My name is Aleksander Dubowski, though most people simply call me Aleks — the founder and photographer behind Daydream Shooter’s Studio, part of DeDynamics, based in Heerenveen, The Netherlands.
Photography has been my way of rebuilding and redefining life. After going through a difficult personal journey and a period without a home, I discovered that the camera allowed me to slow down and reconnect with the world around me. Every photo I take is a quiet reminder that progress often begins in small, imperfect steps.
Daydream Shooter’s Studio was created from that mindset — to capture authentic stories, local moods, and real emotions. My work combines street atmosphere, storytelling, and creative experimentation, often focusing on the subtle beauty hidden in everyday moments.
I collaborate with local photographers, models, and artists, and stay active in international photography communities to exchange knowledge and inspiration. Through these connections, I aim to grow a creative network rooted in openness, quality, and collaboration.
